Consultant, composer, arts educator and professional development leader.

Sylvia has over 25 years teaching experience in public schools, universities, cultural arts centers, recreational programs, prisons, senior citizen facilities and libraries.  Ms. Wallach specializes in music and arts integration using an interactive and eclectic approach.  She offers in-service training for teachers, artist-in-residencies for schools as well as workshops for gifted and talented in educational, cultural and recreational settings.  She has presented workshops at international conferences throughout United States, Canada, and Australia.

Sylvia is the author and producer of ‘Create and Celebrate, Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3’, a series of three
choral builder programs for elementary and junior high schools and churches. (‘84, ’87, ’88)  She has also composed and
produced ‘Rhythm, Reading, Rhyme & Rap – Volume 1, Volume 2, and Volume 3' – a series of K-3 resource materials to
promote literacy skills through concepts and elements in music.  (’93)
